Melissa Delazzeri

ARCHITECT

Melissa Delazzeri is an Architect and Urban Planner, graduated in 2004 from Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos).

Driven by a curiosity to understand how architecture is realized around the world, she has accumulated 20 years of experience both in Brazil and abroad. She began her career in the United States, where she worked for seven years as a project coordinator at a furniture company specializing in wholesale, developing showrooms in various cities and countries, and providing exclusive projects for high-profile clients.

Back in Brazil, she joined the family’s furniture company, Punto Mobile. In 2014, she founded Melissa Delazzeri Architecture, focused on contemporary architecture and serving corporate, commercial, and residential projects.

Her creative process starts with careful research that combines cultural references, lived experiences, and the specific needs of each client. Through close dialogue, Melissa seeks to deeply understand what each project demands, from functionality to aesthetic and emotional aspects. This approach ensures that projects are unique and truly meaningful, reflecting both cultural diversity and the local context.

With advanced training from the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) and the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan, Melissa brings an open approach that goes beyond borders and encourages the creation of spaces that not only serve a function but also inspire and transform.

For her, an architectural project is only complete when it provides positive and meaningful experiences for the people who inhabit it, whether in the daily life of a home or the dynamics of a workspace.

My first internship in architecture was with Melissa. I was so well received that I felt at home during all the months I worked with her. It was a wonderful experience and it surprised me by showing how good an internship can be! With versatile and always innovative projects, I learned new things every day and was able to put my skills into practice. It was there, working with satisfaction, that I realized that I was in the right profession.

I can only thank Melissa for having worked with her, she is such an incredible person and an extremely qualified and dedicated professional who, in addition to always teaching me with patience, encouraged me to follow my dreams. I will certainly take everything I experienced during these months with me for the rest of my life - with much love and gratitude in my heart.

Being part of the Melissa Delazzeri Arquitetura team has taught me a lot and I am immensely grateful! Melissa opened doors for me and my knowledge. It was my first internship in the field. I was able to learn a lot and I take with me all the lessons I learned. The energy in the office is inexplicable and Mel is an incredible person, I always felt at home. In the baggage that I take from my discernment and evolution, Mel is part of that and was essential throughout my career!

In addition to believing in the firm's values, I am very honored, admired and immensely grateful to have been part of this firm that grows more and more every day!

Mel has always been a dedicated, excellent and highly ethical professional, always serving her clients with great care and seeking innovation in each project. Today, I take many of the things I learned from her into my professional life, and I know that she is always willing to exchange ideas and talk.

Working with Mel was an incredible experience. Just as she pays special attention to customers, it is no different with the team. The office is a calm place with good energy, where everyone feels good.

During my experience, I followed every detail of several projects being decided with as much care as possible. Mel meets the needs and puts herself in her clients' shoes, always prioritizing each person's well-being. This sensitivity makes her an architect who inspires, encourages and translates the real meaning of architecture.
