The Gabriel Marcon Building stands out as a representation of contemporary architecture that balances form and function. With a bold and dynamic design, the project combines creative solutions to meet the challenges of the site, dialoguing with the rhythm of João Pessoa Street and the urban surroundings. Located in the heart of Garibaldi, in Serra Gaúcha, the building is marked by a facade with angular lines and a mix of materials, translating a concept that reflects both the shape of the land and the energy of local urban life.

 

With 24 apartments ranging from 73m² to 123m² and two horizontal penthouses, the building caters to different types of residents, offering a comfortable and functional environment. The ground floor houses four commercial rooms and living areas, including a party room and a large hall, designed to promote the well-being of residents. In addition, the project includes two floors for garages, ensuring practicality and fluidity in the circulation of residents and visitors.

 

One of the main challenges faced during the design process was the harmonious integration of all the client’s needs, taking into account local regulations regarding the height of the building and the peculiarity of the site, which presents an angle in relation to the street on its front façade. Overcoming these challenges required a creative approach in the distribution of internal and external spaces. The end result is a project that integrates fluidly with its surroundings and offers a unique visual experience.

 

The architectural design stands out for its exploration of angles and the combination of materials, which gives the building a contemporary appearance while ensuring functionality. The building appears to be divided into two distinct volumes, thanks to the contrast between the textures used in the cladding: ceramic tiles in the main volume and smooth white plaster in the secondary volume.

 

The Gabriel Marcon Building, by integrating contemporary elements with the characteristics of the terrain and urban life, offers a creative response to the challenges of the location, providing a contemporary aesthetic that elevates the urban setting.
