A very old house that required major changes to adapt to the needs of its residents. While maintaining the perimeter of the residence, we changed the entire internal layout, as well as the facade and accesses.

 

The most radical change was raising the level of the ground floor and basement by 1.5 meters, while maintaining the original external masonry.

 

Interesting fact: raising the floors was necessary because there is a stream running through the back, and the basement of the house (where the family business is located) was 1.5 meters below water when the last flood occurred.
